Inauguration Day

Today is another remarkable day in history, as we all (at least who live here) know.

The weather is nice. It's not too cold, beautiful sun light shines through the silver cloud, snow from yesterday is still everywhere and that even makes the day prettier.

These make today different from everyday and also make it a special day.

So many things will be recorded, so many changes are expected to come.
I pick my own memory for today and it's this picture.

If I have a bad snow day (like yesterday), it was so cold and could not see a thing.
There will be a day like today, life and weather are alike. These two will be better the next day.

Snow outside, me inside

Finally, it snows!!!

I should have taken today off. I love wandering outside and taking pictures while it is snowing like this.

When it snows, the world has another perspective. It looks wider and brighter than it usually is. Plus I don't feel it as cold as it supposes to be.

It is snowing when I go out of the house.

It is snowing when I drive to work.

It is snowing when I walk from parking lot to my office.

At lunch time, it is still snowing , so I take my snow break.

Snow outside, me inside.

I still can get a little bit of "Wandering in snow" moment.

My moment is lovely. I think so.

food of love

Sunday is always a cooking day for me. Today is cold, cold and cold. I debate between buy some chinese food at chinese grocery or just cook at home. The later wins.

I cook spagetti and meat ball today. It turns out better than I thought because I am on the phone and forget what is on the stove for a little while. Good incident!!!

Talk about food, my mom made me this tiny sandwich. I had TMJ and sandwich is a big no no becasue I cannot open my mouth too wide.

So many times, I think food is another form of love. This tiny sandwich is one of the best example.

Waiting

What are you going to do if you have to wait in line for a table in a restaurant for one and a half hour?

Restaurant was packed. The only thing I can see was ceiling. After playing with my camera for a while, finally I've got one picture that I like.

Dinner was over at almost eleven with message from the fortune cookie "The simplest answer is to act".

It's Friday.

When it's sooooo cold like this morning, it would be nice to stay in bed with warm blanket!!

I love the moment in the morning when I just wake up and see the first sunlight of the day shines through the window.

Nothing much, it just makes me feel happy.

Here comes winter time

It doesn't feel like it is winter time until this morning. At least this is how I feel. It has been so cold but there is no snow yet until this morning!!!

Cloudy morning then blue sky comes after. It was windy. Roads are glazed with white from salt. Ahh, here comes the winter time.

In front of my house, a snowy heart is there, love from sky above, I would say.

The grass is always greener outside.

I always wonder that even in the middle of January, the grass is still green. It looks as though the world is warm and it should be fun to walk outside.

Well, the grass is greener outside, but it is much warmer inside at this time of year.

I bought this bouquet and put it in the vase, then placed it on my dinning table in the kitchen.
